About Us

Officially opening in 1949, The Fryin’ Guys is the oldest Fish and Chip Restaurant in the Niagara Region. We thank the many members of our community; and look forward to seeing all of you at our 75th and 100th year anniversary.

Jim and Ellen Hearth of Ratby, England created the recipe in the early 1900's. The recipe has been passed as a “trade secret” to a succession of owners, and is still a fan favorite today. Try the taste that keeps people coming back for the last seven decades.

We wrap all of our orders in newspaper, continuing the tradition that started with Jim and Ellen Hearth over 70 years ago. Our chips are never frozen, which gives them their great taste and appearance.  We look forward to serving you in the near future.
